Can't believe it hasn't hit it yet.. and when WA hits top 10 we can all stop worrying about her top 10 streak again! New era will bring many more.

Personally Katy can put out an album in 6 months if she wants, she writes at lightning speed. But she's said that she's already written a few songs, so I figure that shell record the album in the fall, release the first single in May. Her single release dates always benefit her and she's followed them along each era, so I don't expect them to change

I hope it hits at least top 3 so she can maintain her top 3 streak too! Even better, she can start to link the number ones starting now from POM and WA

Im worried a bit for her next era, I know she can make amazing electro rock songs, but I want more WA's. Scratch that actually I want mre TD, I don't care what people say this whole album is filled with amazing classic pop tunes that I can crank with my windows down anywhere and not be ashamed

Last week it sold 109,000 and the week before I think it was 78,000. That's 187k in just 2 weeks but we don't know how many copies were sold when CC was released, so it may be around 200k. And this week at least it sold 50% of what Carly did, I'm guessing that would be 150k or so. Getting everything together, 350,000 sounds like a reasonable number.

Yaay  I'm expecting it to reach platinum before the end of June tbh, it can easily pull of two 400,000 in a row?

+1 Katy is smart and I believe her when she said she knows when she has a hit. I expect her to take some risks next album, but nothing drastic to where we look at her like  I can't imagine the pressure she's going to feel when it comes time to put it out TD proved that she is one of today's best. The next album could solidify her as being on the verge of becoming one of the greatest in pop history.

It can easily pull one 400,000 week, but I don't think it can pull of two.  It depends on how hard it smashes and on the promo it gets on those weeks.

I don't think so, not even Carly is selling that much, last week she was #1 in Digital Songs with 293k copies sold. Katy needs to sell around 220k every week for the next 3 weeks to reach platinum. Sounds hard but not impossible.

I see it as a smash, it's doin' hell amazing!
And yes, full agree.. Teenage Dream, as I always say, is a historic and legendary masterpiece pop album
