Joe McElderry had toilet trouble with Beyoncé
Joe McElderry once almost wet himself at a Beyonce Knowles concert.
The 19-year-old singer was once so excited to see his idol in the flesh he refused to go to the toilet and spent almost the entire show desperate to relieve himself because he didn't want to miss any of her songs.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I went to see her. And I was desperate for the toilet and I would not leave in case I missed a tiny bit. My cousin was like, 'Just go to the toilet,' I just kept saying, 'No! I'm not going!' "
Joe - who shot to fame after winning UK TV talent show 'The X Factor' last year - would love to work with the 'Single Ladies' singer in the future, if the opportunity ever arises, because he thinks she is so incredible.
He said: "Beyonce is the top one. She's amazing. She acts the songs. And she has got the right balance between it all and she just connects with the cameras. She outdoes her dancers. Her dancers are flagging and she is still going! That takes a lot."

If you look at that picture Bey took with AJ (of 106 & Park) at Jay-Z's concert you will notice she's wearing the same dress (she wears a different one when she went on stage).

AL: Ah, Maroon 5. Well, I think our music started changing. We started listening to R&B and hip hop which started effecting the way we wanted to play. I think in the late nineties, once rock 'n' roll was kind of officially dead, things started happening in the R&B and hip-hop world that were really revolutionary. To me, at least, rock 'n' roll bands started just regurgitating the same s**t. Everybody wanted to be Nirvana, everybody wanted to be Pearl Jam, and nobody really paid attention to the fact that The Neptunes and Timberland was all very new sounding, innovative sounding. And I was really drawn to that, even the early Destiny's Child records. I know it sounds weird, but to me at the time, those were the most revolutionary records coming out. I mean Missy Elliott was almost avant-garde. It was so strange and cool and kind of a birth of a completely new genre of music. We loved that, we emulated that. And, I think, in doing that, we alienated ourselves from the rock 'n' roll scene and became a poppier situation.

Adrien Brody's Beyoncé sadness
Monday, 8 December 2008
Adrien Brody was sad when Beyoncé sang to him.
The actor stars alongside the singer in 'Cadillac Records' and says he enjoyed working with her so much, he was overwhelmed when they did their final scenes together.
He said: "Beyoncé was remarkable and very emotionally open. We went through some tough stuff. There's one scene where she sings 'At Last' directly to me. It was a strange moment that made me sad because it was her last day of filming.
"I kept thinking, 'When will I ever have Beyoncé sing to me like this again?' "
In the movie, Beyoncé stars as legendary troubled singer Etta James, while Adrien plays record boss Leonard Chess

You saw how he hammered that kiss onto Halle Berry at the 2003 Oscars, so you know Adrien Brody dove into his work when it came to making out with Beyonce in "Cadillac Records."
Writer/director Darnell Martin admitted at Monday's premiere that she took some "dramatic license" in devising a scene where record boss Leonard Chess (Brody) locks lips and rolls around on the carpet with heroin-fogged singer Etta James (Beyonce).
But Brody wasn't troubled by the historical inaccuracy.
"Let's just say it wasn't a deal breaker," the grinning actor told us. "When I met Etta [the real one], she told me, 'Leonard and I did not do those things!' So, yes, it was somewhat embellished. But what's wonderful is the truth Beyonce brings to that moment. That justified it."
Plus, said Brody, whose girlfriend, Elsa Pataky, was out of earshot, "It is fun, obviously, to kiss Beyonce. I insisted on a lot of takes."
Beyonce, who came to the premiere with husband Jay-Z, allowed that she didn't find the intimacy repellent.
"It wasn't so bad," she said with a faraway smile. "I remember when he kissed Halle Berry. He's not shy! Not at all."
Cedric the Entertainer, who plays bluesman Willie Dixon, admitted his only problem with the film was that "they wrote me out of a scene with Beyonce."
Eamonn Walker, who heaped on weight and dropped his British accent to become Howlin' Wolf, said he identified with the growling singer's "madness, his obsessiveness and his love of women."
Jeffrey Wright, who masterfully inhabits Muddy Waters, admitted he couldn't match the Hoochie Coochie Man's guitar-pickin' or alcohol intake: "How am I going to be a hard-drinking man with a 7-year-old and a 3-year-old — though they may drive me to drink?"
Despite Beyonce donating her salary to the Phoenix House rehab program, premiere guests did do a little boozin' at the after-party at Marquee. Joining cast members like Mos Def, Gabrielle Union and Emmanuelle Chriqui were Leonardo DiCaprio, Diddy, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Kevin Connolly, Akon and Russell Simmons.

No Lady GaGa?
She wasn't around when we made the movie [Laughs]. Who doesn't listen to Beyonce really? She's got all bases covered! I definitely have a pop aesthetic although I like my XX and other indie bands. Something in me is satisfied and fed by pop music.

Alicia Keys Talks Beyonce Collaboration
After taking the world by storm with her memorable appearance on Jay-Z’s triumphant “Empire State of Mind,” Alicia Keys has now switched gears for a highly anticipated collabo with Beyonce on her forthcoming LP, “The Element of Freedom.”
Speaking on the track from her World Aids Benefit concert in New York City on Wednesday night (December 2), Keys spoke exclusively with BET News Correspondent Sharon Carpenter about “Put It In A Love Song.” The track, which is slated to appear on the singer's December 15th release was constructed out of pure fun and completely organic, according to Keys.
“Someone’s in London, someone’s in NYC and you send it via internet and they send it back," Keys told Carpenter. "You’re feeling it, you talk on the phone, but the real way is to really be in the studio together, which we were.”
“We just had a party in the studio," she continued. "It was such a genuine energy, we clicked, we connected. We’ve known each other for a lot of years and obviously this is the first time that we’ve been able to collaborate, so it was unforgettable. Can’t wait for you to hear it.” [Click here to listen to Alicia Keys' "Put It In A Love Song" featuring Beyonce.]
Though contributors and producers for “Put It In A Love Song” have yet to be revealed, Keys assured Carpenter that her and Beyonce’s tag team, in addition to the song's elements, provide a great ambiance. “The song, when you hear it, there’s just a great mixture,” Keys explained. “It just felt like….the two of us together would be a the perfect mixture on this song, big pianos, big beats, ill flows and a great hook.”
In regards to matching schedules, Alicia believes fate was the common denominator that brought the two songbirds together. “I reached out and she was like, ‘You’re never going to believe it, but I came back to New York those exact three days you said.’ It was just meant to be. There’s no other way that this was going to happen.”

Alicia Keys has said she thinks of Beyonce like a sister.
The pair got together to record a duet - called Put It In A Love Song - for Alicia's new album The Element Of Freedom, and the singer said they had a blast.
"Her and I together was like reunited sisters - most people get in the studio and don't get a chance to really collaborate, be in one room, we were in one room having a ball," she gushed.

Cheryl Cole: I was obsessed with Beyonce
The Geordie lass attempted to imitate her look
Style icon Cheryl Cole once dyed her hair blonde because she wanted to look like Beyonce Knowles.
In 1999 - when Cheryl was just 15 - Destiny's Child were singing about female empowerment and looking hot.
‘Beyonce's just a star. She's just got it. She's everything a woman should be and everything you should want to be as a woman,' says Cheryl, 26.
‘I was obsessed with her. I remember seeing the video for Bills, Bills, Bills and just going, "Oh my God, who is this girl? I want my hair like hers".
‘I literally went and got my hair bleached peroxide blonde. It took eight hours and looked horrendous.'
Cheryl loved Beyonce's OTT outfits, too.
‘I always wanted that urban, baggy jeans look,' Cheryl tells Stylist. 'I'd cut things up and experiment, it always went dreadfully wrong.'

I was getting my nails done and I looked to the left and this girl had these gorgeous, red glitter heels. I look up to see one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen. The type of beauty that just closes up in your chest, like I was looking at something surreal. So I said, ''Your shoes are amazing!'' I had a brief conversation about glittery shoes -- she was really nice. This is how lost I am: When she walked out, Paul, the guy doing my nails says, Oh my God, I can't believe that was Beyonce -- I have to call my boyfriend!

Fashion designer David Koma was "incredibly proud" when the curvaceous beauty wore one of his gowns to the awards show.
The singer wore a black and metallic dress from the Georgian-born designer's current autumn-winter collection as she picked up her three honours at the Berlin ceremony.
He said: "I have been working with Beyonce and her team to create a unique dress and knew there was a possibility she may wear it, but when I saw her last night she looked absolutely incredible!
"Beyonce represents the ideal woman that inspires me, I'm delighted that she wore my dress to collect her award and feel privileged and incredibly proud that a worldwide superstar has shown such support."

She said: "I get self-conscious, but you have to just embrace it and go with it.

"I remember being in my underwear in my hotel room, trying to get comfortable with my Sin City role.

Interestingly enough, it seems that the starry look of old-style screen goddesses has been replaced today by popular music divas. It’s women such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Maria Carey and, in her recent reincarnation, Britney Spears who now wield cultural and fashion influence. They are rarely pictured without full make-up and hair and a becoming outift. Look at Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham — even if they get caught in some dead-awful outfit, they manage to carry it off with some style.

Evidence: He has collaborated with Beyonce a few times (on Fashion Rocks and for the remix to his song "Until The End of Time" from his album "Future Love/Sex Sounds"). It is also rumored that Ciara's song "Love Sex and Magic" was first offered to Beyonce.

Timberlake performed with Beyoncé at Fashion Rocks in New York Sept. 5, and soon after, word got out that the two were working together on her third solo LP, scheduled to be released in November. He says he has written a couple of tracks for her, but he isn't sure how many will end up on the album — or if they'll sing a duet.
"We're still in the process of that, and she has a lot that she's doing," he says. "I know what it's like to be in that stage where you're juggling so much to get a project out. It's hectic. So my mission is to make it as easy as possible on her. I love her to death and think she's great. And obviously, she has an amazing gift with that voice and presence."
