Fan Base: Carrie Underwood

Well for the small amount of active Carrie fans on this forum, I find the base more then active enough. I personally haven't had much time to be on since I got back home because I've been getting back into routine and getting ready for the school year. Unfortunately though this school year my first semester is very heavy loaded so I'll have to focus on my Grades, also I'm planning on joining several clubs - as well I have work & need to start fundraising for my trip to Kenya next summer. It's unfortunate I can't post on here as much as I'd like to but everyone has done a great job keeping this base alive.
As for your comments about no connection, I find, myself personally atleast, that I have develope fairly strong relationships between a lot of the members in the base and always make sure I try to talk to everyone. I know we may not be as close as Britney or Lady Gaga stans but we are a good bunch of people and we all share the same love for Carrie Underwood.

Well, I don't say we have to talk about other stuffs to keep this base alive. If you check other bases, you will see they talk about their faves mostly. With private converstions, you should post on wall but with some random, regular off-topic things you should post here and share with others. I don't expect to know well about all of you through this base which requires a long private chat but since I came here, all I know is just the countries you live

like I said, it's not how much time you spend on it but how you connect with it I know everyone is busy, I'm not free myself too

Anways, Has a setlist shown up for the North American tour yet? I'm really praying she adds Wine After Whiskey and See You Again - both songs are the highlights of the album for me and it would be disappointing if she didn't end up singing them. Also, I know this is a far strech, but I'd love if she added There's a Place for Us to the set list. It's my favourite Carrie song and it's so underated and underappreciated, such a beautiful song, beautiful lyrics, melody, vocals, everything about it is perfect.

did you hear her sing WAW at the Opry? asdqwddadw it slayed me  it's so beautiful
and no idea about the set list  the first show's soon though. it's come around so fast, it seems like only yesterday people were disappointed the tour wasn't starting until September.

Oh now I get your point. And yeah, maybe it's true. It doesn't bother me really, but I see where you come from
teddies, your working days are loongggg I don't even think your allowed to work that long here.
Mezik, I hope Wine after Whiskey makes it to the set, she hasn't performed it much but yesterday at the opry it sounded fabulous live. Other then that, See You Again and Good in Goodbye need to be performed. From previous albums I want some songs that are album tracks that she probably will never perform again There''s a Place for Us is beautiful, but not really special imo.

I love WAW so much Pretty sure it's my favorite Carrie song. Some days my fave changes though 
I'd like her to include TNBLGO from Some Hearts that song's so underrated.

(The Night Before) Life Goes On is fantastic to, but I'd prefer her to sing Starts With Goodbye or I Ain't in Checotah Anymore live.

Well imo the base is most of the time dead because there actually a few stans on atrl, teddies, mezik, manchs, you, newil71 and another one whose username i don't remember these few people are busy with school/work so you can't pretend to see this base active like gaga's one  even the britney base has been dead for months and there are tons of stans on this site! It is not so dead right now after all

How about she would do a different album track every show this tour, songs she normally doesn't perform? That would be awesome imo.

Carrie's team tweeted about the $6.99 discount on iTunes heaps of recent Sony albums have been discounted. Given that the likes of Chris Brown, Maroon 5, Usher etc etc have all received the same discount, and "Blown Away" is older than all of them it's pretty impressive it shot to #1 so fast. It ends on the 5th though

It is quite impressive, especially seeing Maroon 5 & Usher have a much larger fan base than Carrie so it just adds to the accomplishment. Although the discount ends on the 5th, the exposure in the Top 10 should be good enough to keep her from free falling back down to the 20s/30s.
