it happened to my aunt when she was giving birth to my cousin. the first picture of her after birth she looked like an alien because her head was so misshapen
sometimes the baby gets stuck halfway so they have to get a suction thing that's like a little vacuum and they attach it to the baby's head and suck them right out of the mother. and then the baby's head is all weird shaped for a bit until it goes back to normal lol
If possible this is to be avoided though ..Others use forceps as well..and if the head is too big..there would be like surgical cutting of the perineum
