This isn't a horrible album by any means (her raw vocal talent is really showcased) but I was all excited and amped up being told she was making a HUGE pop comeback and this by those standards has really disappointed me. I think a lot of people (including myself) were hoping for another album in the similar vein of The Fame Monster and we didn't get that. I think this is why the fans seem to divided on this album, I feel like if the rumours of her making a glorious comeback to pop(working with RedOne again) weren't swirling around so furiously and hyping us all u,p a lot of people would have more positive acclaim for this album.
There are absolutly no hits on this album apart for a possible moderate hit here and there.... but that is a small sacrifice to pay when you serve such a consistent album. love it tbh. very different...was expecting a little more but all in all I am satisfied and there are some super amazing moments.
Dancin' In Circles in summer would've demolished careers. It's a combination of Alejandro, Lean On and those trendy tropical songs

You say the fans are divided when the overwhelming majority are slayed by it. Also a lot of other lies in your post but i am too busy bopping to this bible of an album to reply to them all
