Don't post much anymore but I still can't get over the fact that LL wasn't a single when it was the planned 4th single from the Get Go. Why make it track #2 and not follow tradition and release what's gonna be the signature song off the album? The video would have won her Vmas, the song itself would have won Grammys and tons of BBA's.

It's not the straight college guys to worry about, its the families that only listen to classic rock and country radio (aka 50% of the audience) that will see it and file complaints and do whatever they can to stir up controversy. Seriously this is NOT the audience to do anything controversial in front of. You'd think straight America wouldn't loved Janet's nip slip but obviously that didn't go so well on the rest of her career.

You'd be surprised. I know plenty of people that don't know who she is/have never heard her biggest hits, and I don't even live in that area of the country. I really don't think you're aware of how non controversial you have to be at the Super Bowl.

@LS I'd guess a good number of those people ARE bigots (big surprise its America). I'm not saying she'll definitely receive huge backlash from performing it but the possibility of it happening is just too big. She should play it safe. She has plenty of other, better, bigger songs to play.
