What I was thinking of her acting basically in the flashbacks

On set with Valentino - not good but not terrible
At dinner with Valentino - tragic
Walking through the Hotel with that one bitch - tragic
With Mr. March - Average
When she found out Valentino
was dead - good.
The Woman in Black - average
At the train - average

Overall it was inconsistent but not that terrible

Literally everything she did in the flashbacks this episode were TRAGIC. She was decent in the modern-day scenes; I wasn't phased by her screech at dinner with James, though. But her flashbacks scenes tonight were absolutely wretched.

Eh, I'd consider her performance in Machete Kills wretched. Tonight was disappointing to average IMO, but it was also her most challenging material to date — about what I'd expect from her at this point in her career tbh. It's Ryan's fault for casting a rookie as the lead, but I think Gaga's putting forth a valiant effort and will leave this season significantly more refined.

After watching the first six episodes of this season I was convinced that Gaga was one of the most terrible actresses I've ever seen and that this season was definitely going to end up worse than Freakshow. After tonight, my faith has been restored. Gaga's acting (for the most part) was really good and all the plots are now connecting to each other. Tonights episode honestly slayed my ass really ****ing hard.

Honestly I'm not understanding the hate for this episode. It was the best episode this season. Gaga's flashback alone is a highlight this season. I also love Finn's new character and I really cannot wait to see more of him and his wife. His model character was so ****ing annoying. Kiiii at Scream Queen fans talking about bad acting.

No shade but I was just going to say this. Even Gaga is better than some of the actors on SQ. But it's okay cause SQ is funny and keeps you interested. The cerebral plot of AHS is what keeps me interested, and I just find myself more consumed in that rather than paying attention to things like plot holes and bad acting. I don't get the double standard though.

Everything Ryan does is always messy Gaga is not on Jessica or Kathy level so yeah sometimes she is good sometimes not. Jessica could not have played the Countess i dunno maybe Emma? But lets not pretend she is better, maybe Lilly Rabe but she is not that sexy, Sarah could have pulled it off perfectly but Gaga as Sally wouldnt be convincing enough. Sally is obvi the best thing in Hotel. She's done filming ACS so she should be appearing next episode.

Also which ever drag queen blotted out Gaga's eyebrows in the flashbacks needs to walk a hundred miles while tucked. She did her wrong with that shoddy job.
