That completely invalidates the point.
This is the reverse Warholian Expedition she was talking about. Remember how Warhol would take commercial items like soup cans and make them into art? She's taking art and commercializing it. You have Jeff Koons, Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, and Bernini’s Apollo and Daphne on an album cover that will be placed in stores worldwide alongside her pop contemporaries and bags of chips and soda. She is subconsciously exposing her fans and the world to these artists and artworks. I know it doesn't mean much to us OR the GP, but that's the point here, and I think it's kind of cool.
There are many theories as to why the font is the way it is. I like the one that says it symbolizes how she said ARTPOP will "shatter" any pre-conceived notions people will have of her or her music.
