I think when bombings happen in the middle east/Asia etc, people are desensitised to it in a way because its more common and ppl aren't shocked by it. It's still terrible obviously and no life is worth more than another.
But when things like this (that don't happen a lot in western countries), people are shocked because its like "wow that could have been me" or like maybe someone lives in the UK and Paris is so close and they think "i could have been there, or that could have been here". i think thats why people react more to things like this that happen in 1st world countries

There are two types of jihadism. One is religious/spiritual and non-violent, the other is political and often violent. The type of jihadism mentioned from your link is militant Islamic jihadism which is comparable to communism and fascism. It is more of a political ideology than a religious one.

Well I believe there's place for every race in Europe, but only if you want to assimilate. If you're coming to us, accept our culture and if you don't like it just go where you came from and be happy there. As simple as that.

Not people actually comparing those statements to Hitler. A hypocritical mess.
Fun fact: Saudi Arabia (and some other muslim countries):
Quote:
The country is ruled by a monarchy with a legal system based on Islamic law (Shari'a). The Government does not provide legal protection for freedom of religion, and such protection does not exist in practice. Islam is the official religion, and the law requires that all citizens be Muslims. The Government prohibits the public practice of non-Muslim religions.

It's the thought process the fact that 1.5 billion people should change their faith to live in Europe. It's crazyyyyy and very offensive.

Why would all of them suddenly come to Europe? Are you saying all this nonsense just to be controversial?

Our ignorance of the Islamic State is in some ways understandable: It is a hermit kingdom; few have gone there and returned. Baghdadi has spoken on camera only once. But his address, and the Islamic State’s countless other propaganda videos and encyclicals, are online, and the caliphate’s supporters have toiled mightily to make their project knowable. We can gather that their state rejects peace as a matter of principle; that it hungers for genocide; that its religious views make it constitutionally incapable of certain types of change, even if that change might ensure its survival; and that it considers itself a harbinger of—and headline player in—the imminent end of the world.
The Islamic State, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), follows a distinctive variety of Islam whose beliefs about the path to the Day of Judgment matter to its strategy, and can help the West know its enemy and predict its behavior. Its rise to power is less like the triumph of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt (a group whose leaders the Islamic State considers apostates) than like the realization of a dystopian alternate reality in which David Koresh or Jim Jones survived to wield absolute power over not just a few hundred people, but some 8 million.
There is a temptation to rehearse this observation—that jihadists are modern secular people, with modern political concerns, wearing medieval religious disguise—and make it fit the Islamic State. In fact, much of what the group does looks nonsensical except in light of a sincere, carefully considered commitment to returning civilization to a seventh-century legal environment, and ultimately to bringing about the apocalypse.
Virtually every major decision and law promulgated by the Islamic State adheres to what it calls, in its press and pronouncements, and on its billboards, license plates, stationery, and coins, “the Prophetic methodology,” which means following the prophecy and example of Muhammad, in punctilious detail. Muslims can reject the Islamic State; nearly all do. But pretending that it isn’t actually a religious, millenarian group, with theology that must be understood to be combatted, has already led the United States to underestimate it and back foolish schemes to counter it. We’ll need to get acquainted with the Islamic State’s intellectual genealogy if we are to react in a way that will not strengthen it, but instead help it self-immolate in its own excessive zeal.

He didn't say they can't be Muslims/support the Islam, he said we should only let in the Muslims that let other people live their lives the way they want and don't force their religion on Europeans and respect our culture, e.g. the fact we have gay marriage and we don't want to hide the fact we're gay cuz they might be offended... They can be offended, they can pray five times a day, they can disagree with gay people, just suck it up and continue living your life like the rest of us do though

Learn to READ. No one is saying they have to be in favour of gay marriage, but when you start harassing/killing gay people because they are in a relationship with someone of the same gender then yes, you need to be deported back to the desert you came from. It's about live and let live

Honestly, Europeans are so gullible and live in a fantasy utopia where they imagine all people (immigrants included) to be nice, trustworthy, having a good non-cheating mentality, and treating each other with love. Guess NOT
