There's something about the way queen Meryl (an ATRL icon, by the way, another reason why ATRLers would love the GIF) lift her eyebrows, stares at you and chews. The mixing of disdain, magnificence and that look ala I'm judging you while keeping an expressionless face would definitely delight most of the ATRL members, who are natural divas, and make laugh the other part.

I also picked it because it is how I would react when around friends to a compromising situation in order to warrant a laugh. In retrospect, Burt is pretty badass...who would've known that the wonders of the internet could bring his relevancy to the older age demographic?

I think this gif in many ways reflects my personality. No, not because she (well, he) dresses with wigs and eats the food like a Rihanna-level-of-fierce queen. But because this gif is so strange and funny, yet still can be used to deliver the slickest of shades. I'm not one to be classless and tacky when going in on someone which distinguishes me from the majority of my Rihanna Navy peers. I chose a short scene from Madonna's "Hung Up" video for three main reasons.
1. The video is instantly recognizable, which makes it relatable.
Most members on atrl like to use gifs that they can relate to in some way. That is why a lot of users always ask a person who posted a particular gif, where it came from or what video it is from. The "Hung Up" video is a very iconic video of the post 2000s era and I would say that the overwhelming majority of atrl has seen it.
2. The video is one of my favorite videos of all time, which makes it personal.
Gifs should have a meaning behind them or a reason why they were created. I created this gif because I am a huge fan of the "Hung Up" video. It is easily in my Top 10 videos of all time and I enjoy watching it on occasion.
3. The gif is short and to the point, which makes it usable.
Some gifs that are too long or show too much, end up becoming unused and forgotten. I think that the fact that my gif is short, gives it an edge over other gifs. As proof of this, before sending in my entry, I posted my gif once in a Madonna thread to see if someone would post it in one of their posts, and they did.

If I saw this, it would definitely give me a sign to just be natural, since that's the most important thing when it comes to meeting someone new. Who knows if other ATRL'ers are going through the same situation? Posting this all over the site will also give them some confidence.
Some may think this GIF is only for the ****s, but there's a lot more to it. This will give us a special reminder to have fun and live each day to the fullest, no matter what negative situations have come into contact with you.
