I blame a bad script for that. It was well directed as John Carpenter is a legend.

It depends on if you like campy horror or pure scare; it's definitely campy. It's a fun and amazing ride; a Halloween tradition for me.

it's sad, cause bava, hitchcock, etc. were the guys that had actually artistic values in their movies. i can't believe people actually liked the 2006 version of black christmas. the original is one of my favorites!

but you should check out "the house of the devil"; it's from 2009, but it enbodies the vibe of a roman polanski, john carpenter or bob clark movie! classic horror, gracefully in direction and genuinely suspenseful without the flashy cheap trick visuals/noises of today's remake craze generation. sorry, but there are only few movies these days that i've enjoyed. and "the house of the devil" definitely blew everything else out of the water. love it.

She had to kill all of the other people on the ship so she could get off the ship to her son but then

Her son kept dying so she kept having to go on the ship again and go through all 3 rotations again.

Dang I thought I had a wide collection of horror movies compared to people I know but coming on here makes mine look so small and normal

My favorite horror movie of this year: Cabin In The Woods. Just because it was original (I wish that pot head had died first and really did die though,his voice...)

My favorite of recent years Halloween 2 the remake: I don't understand why no one likes this one I like how Rob Zombie portrayed Michael in this one. Plus that beginning hospital scene is the greatest thing ever!

Favorite of all time: This changes between the classics but right now it's the original Halloween. And this may be due to the fact that Halloween is coming up haha
