Iowa hates Hillary and loves Trump rhetoric. Same with Ohio.

NC was won by Obama in '08 and barely won by Romney because he exceeded with college educated whites (which Hillary is now winning) Obama could've won if he spent time there. Minorities are increasing and they have a bad GOP Governor.

Virginia is the same. Educated, a significant minority voting bloc. Demographics are quickly changing around the country.

Pence will either do one of two things regarding LGBT imo.
1.) Try to avoid everything by saying he stands behind Donald Trump in regards to LGBT.
2.) Freely express his opinion.

Given his recent actions, he's probably going to do 1 but Kaine could push with RFRA (and how Pence invited pretty much openly homophobic folks to the signing of the bill) and his other past comments.
I don't see a way out when they discuss matters regarding women though. Can't really hide behind anyone for Pence but might be a grey area with abortion for Kaine.

It will probably be refreshing because I'm sure Pence actually prepared for this unlike Trump

Abortion isn't a gray issue for Tim. He has an A rated voting record when it comes to women's reproductive rights. He may not agree with it personally due to his religious beliefs, but he doesn't allow it to effect the way he governs or serves the people, and supports their right to choose. That's how it should be.

Kaine needs to bring up that article that Pence wrote from a while back saying that gays shouldn't be journalists, and that they're diseased and ill-bodied.

That's how I see it. But it would be seen as somewhat hypocritical of him to criticize Pence for the same thing that he believes even if he effectively separated his governance and his religious belief. Mind you, I don't think it's a weak spot. Pence has so many holes re: women it's unreal.

I kind of get what you meant, but where Kaine would strike him down is, he doesn't let it guide or interfere with the way he serves the people who elected him into office. He's all about the separation of church and state, but Pence, that's where he and most conservative GOP elected officials fail to do.
