No one can convince me that the music wasn't pushed back. She's doing all these mag covers as if she had music to promote. It seems like the start of an era just with no music. She definitely planned on releasing, but SOMETHING happened.

I have a feeling that when Beyonce does release the single, that there will be a video right along with it. It would be the smart thing to do with this new Billboard rule.

And I think we all need it at this point.

I really think she planned on releasing the single by now, too.

She had a tour add with new music, why put new music on an add to promote a tour if she's not performing new music?

I think she'll release the single and the album within' a small amount of time, I don't think it will be the usual month.

Has someone already posted that Julien MacDonald is touring Bey's tour costumes?

FYI, Julien used to be the designer for Givenchy and has his own line. This is the latest collection. It's very Beyonce I think with lots of peek-a-boos and revealing aspects. He also designed the yellow and black long-sleeved dresses she wore on GMA in 2011 and did some of her NYE costumes (But I hope they go beyond the idea of the little sparkly pin-up leotard thing. I'd love to see a new style in performance-wear. Hopefully some elements of the King Louis aesthetic trickle into it.)

Her outfits always have more elements in the design stage but when it comes down to it, they have to be practical. She moves and sweats a lot on the stage, her costumes and hair have to be able to accommodate that.

I loved the costumes she wore for NYE and A Night With Beyoncé.

True, but it doesn't mean they have to look the same as always.

I really liked the A Night With Beyonce costumes minus the end red skirt thing, and the NYE ones were nice, but to me looked like a weaker, watered down version of the Revel costumes which I think did a great job of being very Beyonce and yet fresh. That black one with the half-peplum belt and the sheer cut-outs is my absolute favourite recent costume of her's.
