And somehow Miranda snagged a FVOTY nod with doing nothing during the eligibility.

The FVoTY category is a disgrace to be honest, where's Cam or Jana Kramer? Hell even Cassadee Pope, Brandy Clark, or Jennifer Nettles would've been better selections over Miranda Lambert. Also I live Kacey but she really did nothing this year. However, it is exciting were finally getting girls in the category who aren't Taylor/Carrie/Miranda/Martina/Reba.. I swear there was like five years.

Also this is the first year since 2006 that Carries got 4 nominations.

I legit had Jana and Cam in mind, even Martina as well. I love Kacey and Miranda, but they've hardly done anything.

Hopefully since they did change up the rules to limit "block voting", we'll be seeing new winners this year.

I could see Maren or Carrie winning CMA FVOTY. New rules playing the factor here...

Kelsea has a better chance than Maren, second female artist in history to get their first 3 singles to number one on radio > one top ten peaking single.

I hope Carrie snags at least one more, she already won the Chairman award this year. It'll probably be her vs. Garth for EoTY, Album will be tough and Vocal event I don't see too much happening there in her favour.
