Katy, the new Paula Abdul with less of a soul and talent?
Soul - Well, Katy doesn't hit every note live and her voice is kind if edgy like Rihanna's but no soul compared to Paula? Paula couldn't sing for shit and you know it.
I find Kesha or Gaga to be more Cyndi.
Cyndi may have had others pen her hits but at least she pioneered her own style.
And Katy has had way more hits than Cyndi did... and she isn't much of an albums artist like Cyndi was.
Katy is kind of Jessica Simpson...except even dumber, uglier, and less talented. She, like Jessica, drips in traditional America suburbia (much to her own detriment).
But, Jessica was able to actually captivate for a brief period. Katy is dull, and she actually overtly tries to be interesting. She's just a blank as the white sheet that she uses for her WOA performances.
Omg that's the member than ran to my wall telling me to "STAY PRESSED." in pink font because I said Nose to Nose was gonna flop.

I don't give a **** what C2C does, I'm not here for jazz so if I like the album I'll genuinely be surprised. I didn't sign on for a jazz album with an old fogey, no matter how legendary, when I became a fan of a EDM/pop artist.
