Ariana can belt though. STRONG, powerful BELTS and she hits her high notes with ease. Samantha is a shrieking mess, Jhene whispers, Justine's belts sound like cackles with all the cracks live. I know tons of people who hate Ariana's "screaming" and "shrieking" though so I guess it's a matter of taste.

None of them is exceptional. They are all on the same level of amateurish okay-ness, save Britney who has run her voice into the ground, and Katy, Rihanna, and Taylor who are simply not very talented singers. Some are less pitchy than the others, but...yeah. There is nothing Ariana can do that Tinashe or Sevyn or Demi can't do.

Because Britney stole from a BLACK woman, just like how Led Zeppelin/Elvis and co. where geniuses while the originals died broke. Plus when Britney hopped on the media bandwagon and said Madonna influenced her/she is the princess of pop. Beyonce and Christina are stunningly good and bad examples of the same thing. Both of them are lyric mezzos. Christina's technique is terrible so her sound is actually pretty thin and not very resonant - just loud. Beyonce is exceptional and able to create a larger, more powerful sound, and with much less effort than Christina, who has almost the same kind of voice she has. Beyonce was able sing over J.Hud, whose voices is actually like 5x bigger than hers, so she could definitely drown out Screamtina.
Aaliyah was a sound vocalist, just pitchy at times and probably due to nervousness. Ciara is not sound. These two have the same kind of voice as well.
I sing Jason's newer songs if they come on @ parties, but I consider them all to be trash and/or guilty pleasure bops (yes, even Talk Dirty). I've only heard Trumpets once but it was tolerable.
He needs to take his own advice and make a video shaking that ASS. Tired of him playing games with my emotions.
