R&B and Hip Hop albums have been the best of this year tbh. Jeezy is like Top 3 this year. With the exception of Tove Lo, most the pop have been pretty garbage.
EDIT: Except Nicki.
Willy you my dude, but Nicki is like 0-3 right now, all her singles have been trash. Still gonna give the album a chance though cuz she been killing those features.

FIGHT me!
Man GTFO with that.
Tinashe's album had some heat IMO (FEELS LIKE VEGAS DONT IT!). compared to what dropped this year. Pretend still sucks though
I'm so glad I lowered my expectations for T.I. after his last 2 wack albums
Paperwork is actually really good when you grade it on a scale. No Mediocre and Jet Fuel (wtf boosie) are the only bad songs on here. His best album since Paper Trail.
And 2014 has been ok for Hip Hop. Run The Jewels, YG, Jeezy, The Roots, Schoolboy, Ab-Soul, and even Rick Ross () were all dope to me. But I don't think there's even been like more than 10 great hip hop albums this year.
I'm finally gon have some time to check out Freddie Gibbs, Isaiah Rashad, and Pharoahe Monch's new albums today.

You didnt like Trouble Man that's classic Tip.
I havent even listened to Paperwork, I'm a big fan but nothing I've heard has moved me so much to listen to it. No Mediocre and About the Money are so ass, the only single I liked so far is King, and that came out like last week.
RTJ2 was dope.
Ross' album was dope. I like the 90's NY rap references, I enjoyed that, but French Montana on one song is already too much smh
Ab Soul's album was soooooo lame. That broke my heart because Control System is one of the best projects ever put out from the TDE camp. Maybe my expectations were too high.
Freddie Gibbs has new music out? Isaiah Rashad album was aite, not bad for a new artist.
And regardless of if you think the song is good or not, The fact that Rick Ross has a song called Rich Bitch is ****ing hilarious

Trouble Man is a watered down version of classic Tip. A scattershot effort and then you see him getting outshined by Andre 3k (understandable), ASAP Rocky and Meek Mill I just wasn't feeling it as an album, maybe a large collection of singles tho. I shouldn't give it such a hard time since it's way better than No Mercy but still, I was disappointed. The Jay-Z of the South, indeed.
And man, About the Money is still the best song on Paperwork. If you hate that, then you might not like the album
I've heard so many ppl talk about how they didn't like Ab Soul's album and yeah, its not as good as Control System but in such a mediocre year for hip hop, it does the job. I can tell These Days... was made with the GP interest in mind anyway.
Yeah, Freddie's Pinata came out earlier this year, ****** been all over it since it dropped. But I'm just now getting around to listening.

You can tell she been taking vocal lessons and improving her technique ooh her voice sounds so much more beautiful these days
I read this as Miley and was so confused as to why you were stanning.
Justine Skye's song is really goood. Glad a singer can be beautiful, but that not be the only thing they have to offer. She is also a very good singer unlike the microwave light skin sexy nocalists that keep get thrown out with generic ass tracks.
Finally bought it. Still contemplating if I'm going to get the full set.
fff poor T-Mobile.
You've bought the album or no? This entire album just seems really personal and well put together. I never ever thought I would buy a T. Swift album, but I must give credit where its due.
