This isn't the airplay thread, but I will note that alternative crossovers traditionally take a long time to build up on pop.
Ex's And Oh's is currently in its 47th day on the pop radio chart, and it's at #24 with a +980 bullet.
On Fight Song's 47th day, it was at #18 with a +1585 bullet.
Based on the callouts for E&O (which are top 10; Fight Song's were consistently terrible), I would actually argue that E&O has a chance to become just as big as Fight Song on pop radio despite being an alternative crossover.
I agree; it's not really pop friendly like Fight Song was -- the only reason it caught on with mainstream audiences is because it's by a girl. Out of all the recent alt crossovers this and "Royals" took off pretty quickly compared to others like "Pompeii" and "Safe & Sound".
