haha yeah, i figured.
it's sad, cause bava, hitchcock, etc. were the guys that had actually artistic values in their movies. i can't believe people actually liked the 2006 version of black christmas. the original is one of my favorites!
but you should check out "the house of the devil"; it's from 2009, but it enbodies the vibe of a roman polanski, john carpenter or bob clark movie! classic horror, gracefully in direction and genuinely suspenseful without the flashy cheap trick visuals/noises of today's remake craze generation. sorry, but there are only few movies these days that i've enjoyed. and "the house of the devil" definitely blew everything else out of the water. love it.
