Katy definitely could sing Lies acoustic. For some strange reason she sings much much better when she's not on a huge stage prancing around like an idiot
Katy actually has a very unique voice. She's a Contralto and they're very rare, it's the lowest of a female voice. Plus she can riff high notes and go into a falsetto while being a Contralto. Her falsetto is the best thing about her imo and if she trains her voice to be stronger (she has a weak voice I wont lie) she could be one of the best singers out there.
I don't know what Marina is but her voice sounds like a Contralto too. Plus she can hit high notes too, like Katy. There voices are actually quite similar now that I look at it
It's coming!
I think this album sounds the same production-wise while The Family Jewels is more diverse.
