Nearly a decade after “Birth,” Jonathan Glazer emerged with another tour de force of suspense and alienation: Scene for scene, this hypnotic adaptation of Michel Faber’s surreal science-fiction novel abounded in the year’s most indelible sounds and images — a baby crying on a beach, a man’s body suspended in viscous darkness, the screeching siren call of Mica Levi’s score. As evidenced by her similarly otherworldly transformations in “Her” and “Lucy,” there may be no nervier American actress of the moment than Scarlett Johansson: The title could easily describe the cool, superhuman intelligence with which she strips the veneer off her own beauty.

No, it's really boring, I didn't even like Nicole performance that much. It could have been great in hands of the better director though. Haven't read the book.
Someone might need to explain Boyhood to me because I'm seriously not getting all this hype & praise
When we get past the filmed in 12 years thing, there's nothing much there

I think the only reason Goddess wasn't so critically acclaimed is the number of songs on it. Like out of 18 songs there are bound to be some duds. It could have been a 13 track masterpiece tbh.

trash, only hyped because of a gimmick. Beyonce in movie form, really. no wonder Nicole stans for it
