You must have missed my messiness in the first 20 pages of the album thread. . But i've calmed down since then.
They always play Fantasy and Honey at the gym and it always takes me by surprise and it feels so good <3
Also one time we had a school shooting 5 months ago, and after the situation was cleared and we weren't on lock down, I went to the gym and as I was walking I heard a familiar voice ..
it was the last part of "Make It Happen" and I just stood there listening to it, and for 30 seconds or so, I forgot that someone had just got stabbed and shot in a classroom in MY university :/

I almost lost it today reading Billboard's $*/... article but over all lambs are really classy. We shade and come with facts. The others try though.
Grocery stores actually play 90's Mariah a lot. I have never any 2000's song (even WBT) played on the radio.
I used to work in one and yes they do play WBT randomly. But when they turn the christmas radio on from Black Friday till January 1st, you can hear her every 10 minutes including songs from MCIIY.
Wow, I feel sorry for you European lambs who rarely hear Mariah.

This reminds me of last Christmas when the mall I was at was literally playing her Christmas album from back to front.
Florida radio plays Mariah ALL THE TIME. I hear ABMB almost daily at work. Ive also heard Dreamlover at the mall often, at work too. Without You, We Belong Together, etc.
Mariah song of the day is the iconic Touch My Body
As always I think her most liberating album is Rainbow. Its not Mimi because she thought she had a finished product and LA sent her back to the studio. It cant be Butterfly simply becaus her label raped and pillaged the project by not distributing the singles properly.
Rainbow was recorded mostly in private and it has very personal songs like CTTA and TGIFY. It was also recorded very fast, she must have felt liberated to get it done so quick.

Or annoyed as hell as a few of those tracks were for the then All That Glitters and Sony demanded that she to rush out another record.
Been bopping to Fantasy, #Beautiful, Hero, It's Like That, WBT, Obsessed, etc. all the hits basically. She's so fabulous it's UNBELIEVABLE. I'm trying to be more like Mariah. When I come to a hard part in my day I think "what would Mimi do?" or "what would the elusive chanteuse say?".
