Is anyone else here from California? I registered to vote and I received a small postcard saying information regarding my precinct would be sent but I haven't gotten it yet. All I was mailed is a booklet with all the propositions on the ballot and etc.
It just feels like both have been picked to paper over cracks and aren't being bigged up or used a ton on the campaign trail. Sure they're doing their own events, but it is hardly making the news - and both of them are not doing or saying anything that is making the headlines. There is no doubting now that Kaine was a shrewd pick from Clinton's perspective - Virginia is 100% going Dem. But in 2012, from my perspective at least, it seemed like Ryan was important to Romney and was pictured a lot side by side. Likewise with Biden since 2008.
Kaine will be likable enough and fit nicely in the role, but I really doubt he'll build the reputation and status Biden did. It feels like to me that Biden elevated the VP role quite a bit, but it'll drop back down with Kaine.
I didn't say it was ethically sound, but as a businessman it makes sense. But like someone said above you can't run a country like you run a business and that's proving to be yet another thorn in Trump's campaign
Just another reason why a "businessman" shouldn't be POTUS.
Why do people keep defending Donald, knowing damn well that if it was Hillary, they'd be calling for her to go to jail or unfit to be POTUS or a liar and scammer?
