Music News section, ATRL Server--(January 6, 2011)--Jive/Zomba recording artist Britney Spears announces her seventh studio album, Untitled, which s set for a March release. The first single, “Hold It Against Me” featuring production by both Dr. Luke and Max Martin will receive a world premiere on January 11, 2011 (1/11/11). The album title and release date have yet to be announced, but Queen B herself stated on Twitter that the new album will be out in March. Spears had this to say about the leaked demo that has cause mass chaos across the worldwide web,
"Heard an early demo of my new single leaked. If u think that's good, wait til you hear the real one Tuesday. -Brit http://twitpic.com/3nmv63."
On the heels of a long and relaxing vacation, Spears is set to give the loyal stans something to really stan about. The "Toxic" singer has enlisted help in old pal and choreographer, Brian Friedman for this new era. You may be familiar with Mr. Friedman's work from several of Spears' past eras, including the steamy routine of, "Slave 4 U." Auditions for new dancers has already taken place and the team are gearing up to do the d@mn thing, one more time.
Jive Records is preparing her latest album to follow-up to her comeback LP, Circus. For her latest effort, Britney has worked with a stellar group of established producers/writers that include Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Rusko, Chase & Status, Labrinth, Danja, and William Orbit just to name a few. We're told to expect a "grimy and European" type of sound with this new album, leaving us begging for more.
Britney Spears is one of the top-selling artists of the last decade, and to date, she has sold in excess of 65 million albums worldwide that include Baby One More Time (1999), Oops!…I Did It Again (2000), Britney (2001), In The Zone (2003), and Blackout (2007), Circus (2008), eight #1 worldwide singles and five #1 albums. The singer was the best selling female artist of last decade and is looking to repeat that performance.
