It's already too long sis and you know it.It's clear that we are not getting the album this year (or the next one for that matter) if she really releases more vids after ILI & RABB.I dont think we'll get more vids after those anyway.

I don't think we're ever getting an album, tbh. Bad Boy is too afraid of releasing anything on a flop single (usually only flop because they can't promote for sh!t)

I'd be willing to bet that if (and that's a big if) we get any music in the future, it'll be another mixtape.

On a more positive note, what does everyone think of Hit It? And we do have a Cassie feature on the Lola Monroe mixtape, whenever that's coming out... If that's scrapped from the final tracklist/just All Gold, All Girls, I will rage

"Hit It" is very cute someone should open a thread about it on the Music section to keep her name out there. I hope we get the full version soon and the beat gets better by the time it gets to her hook part again

The problem with her label it's that they want a hit right away.It wont happen unless they have a big promo lineup for her a la Nicki-Pink Friday (many feats,videos & huge promo around the world),and if they are patient enough until the 2nd or 3rd single (like Nicki with "Your love'').

Or they could go for the musical praise and reviews like M.I.A,Janelle or Franck Ocean.She releases a flop album but a really really good album to gain respect in the R&B world.That's the only pattern they can dream of imo.

Yea I agree! I just think she NEEDS to keep putting material out constantly, that's the only way she'll get another moment again - if people have access to her music. "RockaByeBaby" had such a great reception and I'm sure people will be looking forward for her next official release(s), I know it's still relatively soon but she better not stay MIA for months again, not to mention that urban sound is hot right now... Look at Robin Thicke, no one expected him to have a hit ever again but he kept releasing music over the years and now he has the global smash hit of the year. Plus Cassie says she's always recording anyway and we all know she does have a lot of material, at least let us hear it too

Not to mention the fact that she doesn't really even have any pressure to be successful commercially or sell a lot/appear on the charts should only make and allow her to give us music more regularly, I mean it's not like they even waste a lot of money in her promotion either

Robin's success happened also because he was able to seize an opportunity with Pharrel after the song with Daft punk.The buzz around the 'music video' helped alot but he did everything at the right moment : promo around the world,live perfs... Cass is always delaying things,taking months between moves,losing opportunities and gp's attention. We can't compare the two nor expect the same success for our girl ...unfortunately.

Robin wasn't really promoting it that much before it started to take off everywhere though IIRC? And like I said things clicked for him and he's having a huge moment when no one expected it, I think the same can easily happen for Cassie again too IF she keeps giving us music.
