In season 8, they used the save on the top 7 week and Jennifer Hudson was the guest performer. Fast forward to season 11, it happened again!

In season 9, Michael Lynche was saved during the top 9 week and stayed until the top 4, that's 5 spots higher. In season 10, Casey Abrams was saved in the top 11 week and reached top 6, 5 spots higher as well. If this trend continues, Jessica could leap 5 spots and reach the top 2!

I feel like the staged save from the last epsiode is only going to HURT Jessica. These 16 year old girls get so invested and get ANGRY when someone gets saved... to the point were they vote against them.

saved or not they arent going to vote for her anyways

Those songs are overdone on Idol; Idol fans will not like it lol. I hope that she chooses a song that will connect her & the idol audience

There's a video of her at age 14 singing this song and absolutely slayed it. I tweeted Jennifer Holiday and she loved it.

Idol fans will love it. How many have done justice with this song on AI? none. And when was the last time it was sung?

I Will Always Love You put her up in every news and social networking sites despite the song being the most used in every singing contest.

And I Am Telling You is perfect. She needs to go for the big belted notes, and show those off casual viewers dont really pay attention to those shifting, vocal controls and stuffs they always want the obvious.


Remember Kelly's whistle note? Carrie's belting the rock song and Jordin's high final note?

Idol FANS won't like it but that's what the show's audience seem to prefer. I personally don't understand why they have to "perform songs people know" if we're voting for the contestant not the song but that's how it is. That's partially why Jessica was in the bottom last week.
