The lowdown: Britney celebrates a new man—or, once again, perhaps a renewed sense of faith—that has brought joy back to her life. It’s a contagious burst of boundless optimism, most evident in the pounding country-fried synth breakdown. (This is the song Avicii was aiming for with the drab “Wake Me Up.”) Given that Britney Jean is a breakup album to rival Adele, however, “Now That I Found You” was naturally relegated to bonus track status.
ATRL says...: "I enjoyed me some 'Without You' and 'Wake Me Up.' You think I'd enjoy this washed down mashup of them," Himeros wrote. "No ma'am. Horrible vocals for a song that has a promising beat that unfortunately ends up nowhere." Doogle also thought it was "a rip-off, but isn't everything nowadays?" He argued, "No way it should just be a deluxe track, it's single material." lovesong said "there are elements to it that I love. Just not as a whole song." JakeKills was relieved that there was a "genuinely kinda good song" on Britney Jean.
Best bit: the building anticipation on the chorus that Something Big is about to happen
