This is the best solution but EU is so slow moving. We don't have the facilities to check and accept these millions of people who passed the borders. It's extremist to say "woo hoo these terrorist attacks, close the borders, we don't want any more refugees".

They've been checking them. One of those ISIS terrorists was registered on a Greek island as a refugee.

Theoretically speaking, it'd be wise to stop immigration.
Practically speaking, it's impossible and people will continue to do it illegally anyway. Especially determined groups like ISIS.

The middle ground being they slow down immigration and establish stricter criteria for providing asylum.
