Considering her biggest competitors as of now are SFTR and Stronger and seeing the lead she has over them which she is still extending, am sure it will be more than enough to make up for the airplay gap.
However both TUTM and SS could also be possible threats, esp if one of them takes the #1 exposure away from her but i don't see it happening. The odds are definitely stacked in her favor.
I don't care if she debuts at #1 or reaches #1, I just want her to get another #1 song. It should make up for The One That Got Away not reaching #1 a couple months ago... lol
This is kinda off-topic but can Rihanna's team resubmit WFL for Record & Song of the year?
Resubmit? It was released in mid-September so it couldn't have been submitted for 2012 Grammys (the cut of point already passed). I really do think it has a chance of a nomination for Record of the year though, just depends on future releases this year.

The lead is really not that big—especially when you considering how far behind in airplay points she is.

they actually did submit it for the 2012 grammy's but it wasn't nominated
Nah,she's already slowing down and her lead isn't really huge.+she's going to debut this week and then next week jump into Top 5. http://kworb.net/pop/

Let them ponder. If the already speculated Grammy boosts this year, it selling 97k immediately after being up iTunes, leading much more than the number one contenders and obviously having the opportunity to make up for a lot the gap of airplay in it's first week of airplay isn't enough to make them think a little more, then we'll just have to wait for results and not argue about this all week - unless something drastic happens.
For me, at this very moment, the only way it won't debut number one is if it gains enough airplay from Mon-Tues to debut on this week's chart.
