TVGUIDE: BET's 106 and Parks turning into the Eminem Show

Eminem was the first guest on the new format of 106 and Parks on BET, and he turned this show into his own. He stayed during the whole show. He answered some questions about his upcoming album The Untold Story Vol.1 and his relationship with the ShoTime family. He did a freestyle and performed his single Marshall Mathers vs Slim Shady which will be release this Friday.

On his album:
My album is the first volume of a series of stories that I lived as Marshall, Eminem & Slim Shady that my fans knows but not necessary by the public in general. That's why when Billboard revealed that duet with Elton John everyone was surprised except my fans knows that him and I are actually friends, and that he is my sponsor.

On the ShoTime Family:
It's really like a big family, I love the fact that we are all from different universe but can work on everybody's project like that. We actually have a great relationship. And I will reveal something big, after Beyonce's World Tour, we are going to have a ShoTime Family tour and an album all together.

On his single:
Marshall Mathers vs Slim Shady you will love it. It's a clash/duet between Marshall Mathers and Slim Shady. I wanted to mix the cynical, hardcore style with the funny and shady style of Slim.

MY BEYONCE EXPERIENCE

It was the first show of this tour, and it was spectacular. Beyonce promised us a SHOW, and she gave us one. First of all, Drake did her Opening he was phenomenal, I just fell in love with his Jimmy Dance song, I'm still doing the Wheelchair Jimmy dance over and over with my friend. The song was good, the dance was so fun.

Then he did an Aaliyah tribute and sang the rest of his EP and performed for the first time Paradise a song from his upcoming album... It was like heaven on earth the song was so good... I mean so good, I just cannot...

After that it the stage went dark, and we could see on the screen Drake passing the microphone to Beyonce and she started to walk and we heared Jay Z's voice saying You Ready Bey, Beyonce went on stage BELTING for her life... When she screamed band, Celebration started to play. It was LIFE. She danced and sing like there's no tomorrow. I loved it.

She sang most of hits From No No No to Celebration. don't have words to describe how good it was.

Avril Lavigne has returned to the music business and she has made it big this time. She makes it seem so easy getting a #1 debut in the official Create a Label Hot 5 Chart with 'No Problem!' or turning her lead single 'You Want it' into a viral hit on YouTube.

This week we decided to check out what does Avril have to offer on her new album and give you a little review of it. For the complete review, don't miss our May Edition.

The album starts with the energetic 'No Problem!' that brings the album a lot of dance vibre to it, with electro rythms but still keeping the Avril Lavigne essence we all know, but with a new twist. This track is the perfect choice to open the album because it represents exactly the feeling of the album. Then we have 'Full of Life' which is a midtempo song with great lyrics about living life no matter what situation you are found into. The album continues with 'You Want it' the lead single, which by now, everyone has heard, because the music video is already breaking records on the Social Networks, and has even been compared to 'Gangnam Style' success a few months ago. The album goes a little slower with the ballad 'One of us' about relationships, and this song is already being praised as an early fan favorite. 'Wild Party (The Vodka Song)" is the most relaxed song of her album, with a catchy sound and lyrics about partying and drinking. In the midtempo 'Night Alone' Avril goes a little more sexual without being as dirty as other pop girls. In 'Puppies' Avril has the girl power, telling guys that it's not enough to buy her puppies or chocolates to get her love. In 'Awesome' Avril features american rapper Wanz (who just got a hit earlier this year in Thrift Shop) in the fun track amazing. 'Gone for a While' and 'Care' go back to the slow feeling, but with strong instrumentals, talking about the importance that love has, and how it should be appreciated as it is. Then we get to a really personal song dedicated to Avril's father 'Things my Father Said (Thank u)' which makes us realize about many things of Avril's life. Another surprise from this song is Avril reaching notes we haven't heard from her before. And then the album closes with a powerful duet with Bruno Mars, 'World of Peace' critizing some governements, we are almost sure she was thinking about Korea when she wrote this, as the song makes us realize about many realities of the world we live in.

At first listen, this album seems to be a girl power themed album. But if you listen it with attention you will realize the album is more than that. It talks about not letting other people think they're better than you, letting you know that you are worth as much (or more) than them. And she does it through different aspects, since the funny and cool one, to the sad one about how great relationships can end if you don't realize about it. Definetely Avril has gold on her hands with this album. And, as unlike other artists, she didn't have to claim being God for it, she just claimed being herself, and we appreciate that

Ashley's setlist included 4 songs, and the music began as Ashley stepped out with backup dancers and was wearing a black and sparkly minidress showing off plenty of skin and cleavage.

Then she started to sing her newest song,( rumored to be produced by Calvin Harris) called Last Wish, which was a very uptempo electropop song, The performance was very high energy and Ashley pulled it off well, despite her getting a bit tired towards the end. She then switched over to an old song, He Said She Said, And Ashley was being sexier than ever.

Once He Said She Said was done Ashley did a quick cover of Ke$ha's song Afterparty,(After that she complimented hat she loves Ke$ha and her music.) Before finishing off her high energy set with a dancepop song named Fire. After that Ashley thanked the audience for coming and then Taylor came on and slayed the show. All in all, both girls did good, we think.

After the show was done, Ashley went back to the studio to reportedly work with Dr. Luke.

Today Ellen vistied the NBC talk show Ellen and discussed a few things relating to her music, She also performed her new single Sweet Lover. Here is the interview below.
Ellen: And now, please welcome Gwen Stefani!
Gwen: Hey Ellen! I've always wanted to be on this show, It's so great to meet you.
Ellen: Great to meet you too Gwen! So, how is life?
Gwen: Been good, As some of you may know I'm an opening act for Taylor Swifts 444 tour, -the audience cheers- for her first album, and I can't wait to perform tomorrow!
Ellen: Where are you gonna perform?
Gwen: Well I'm the opening act for the second to last date, in Tokyo, Since the title means four dates, four places, and four opening acts. I really can't wait to go there! I've always wanted to visit Tokyo to be honest, It just seems like a really awesome place to be.
Ellen: How is recording going?
Gwen: Great so far, I've already recorded about....twenty songs, Recorded some with RedOne and Max Martin, Made Sweet Lover with Greg Kurstin and he is producing other songs on the record. All in all I think recording is going good, I'm only gonna have about maybe 12 or 13 songs in the final version so it's gonna be hard to choose.
Ellen: Can you confirm any song titles?
Gwen: Well my label did say I could -audience laughs- I did one with Eminem called Runaway and I think it is perfection He's a really great rapper and I'm glad I was able to make the song with him. I also have a song on the album called I'm Done, which is based on some real life experiences, I really love how it turned out. Other fave ones from the record I think are Hollywood, Shut Down, and...... -Gwen goes silent-
Ellen: Gwen?
Gwen: -laughs- I have another fave, but the title can't be said on TV!
Ellen: Can you atleast censor it?
Gwen: Well....okay Ellen It's called Mother....bleeper.
Ellen: Really?
Gwen: Yes, yes, I know it seems...trashy a bit But I don't care, I love it!
Ellen: Do you have a album title yet?
Gwen: I do, but I don't want to release it, just yet.
After the interview Gwen performed her single, Sweet Lover, wearing a top showing her stomach, black pants, and a open jacket as well.
