I wouldn't focus on the charts this week...
They are going to be in favor of the biggest songs this year because this is the week all the radio stations play the top 100 or so biggest songs of the year... That's why songs like "Sexyback" are moving up in airplay.
I don't know why Rihanna didn't release "Break It Off" to Itunes already. I thought she was being smart at first by releasing "SOS" then "Unfaithful" and then by keeping "Break It Off" unreleased to Itunes , releasing that as a 3rd single. It would have boosted sells because some people would have purchased the single and some people would have purchased the album for that single. But she was an idiotmoron and release "We Ride." I'm guessing it has something to do with some contract that was made between her and Sean Paul. Otherwise, it was a huge mistake on Jay-Z's part becasue after "Unfaithful," most radio stations were playing "Break it Off" already... and she already had the momentum going from two very successful previous singles... OH welll - hopefully she'll release "Final Goodbye" as the 5th and last single from this album. She needs Break It Off to hold on the charts a little bit longer so she can release that 5th single in the spring, which would pick up airplay for graduations/proms/etc.

Did Paula DeAnda release her CD already? If so - the success of this song doesn't seem to be affecting her sales at all. But I am probably right in saying that since this song broke into the top 20, she will probably be granted to make another album... I'm sure she's thanking her lucky stars right now.......

Christina needs to release "Candyman" already... album sales are holding though. I think she is not selling to expectations but I feel that her album will remain a staple in the 20s and 30s and will eventually make out very well. Maybe 3-3.5 million. That is if she doesn't release rumored singles like "Back In The Day." "Candyman," "Oh Mother," and "Slow Down Baby" would be better choices.

Paula has had two successful singles, yet it hasn't helped her album which fell out of the top 200 a while back.

You mean 3.5 million WORLDWIDE, right? Because I'm sorry, but she already released 2 singles, did most of the promo for the album, and she is SO not going to sell 2 million more in the US alone.
