That's for local duels only. I gave Popboi all the files but it still doesn't work. It needs to be approved by the server host or something.

In the past I turned some Pokémon into cards and was cool. Then I changed computer and forgot to pass that data so I lost it and I'm too lazy to try it again (I spent a good amount of time doing them. )

I was thinking about making a whole new range of supports to the Dark Magicians but if I can't use them online, in friendly duels, there's no point.

Still it was cool coding one in. I feel like I should code Harpie Lady Sisters so they have the "this card is treated as harpie lady when on the field" effect. I only found out last week that Pet Dragon doesn't gain attack from the sisters

Magical Hats - I mean, this is probably the hardest one they'll have to code, but I've been waiting forever
Spellbinding Circle - Basically shadow spell 2.0
Dark Magic Curtain - should work on DMG coz it did for Yugi tbh.

Nope. You can duel online with your own cards. I've done it in the past. That's why I created the Pokémon cards. You probably didn't give your friend all the things you need.

I gave him the new cards.cdb and the .lua script for Illusion Magician, and the two images. There's nothing else he should need coz I didn't add anything else?

Even the YGOPRO site says the following:

Add a record to the cards.cdb sqlite database
Add corresponding pictures into the pics folder
Program the card effects in a .lua file in the scripts folder

Note: Custom cards are not supported on the servers.

If, I can get the cards to work online, assuming i don't need to get them added, I'm also thinking of doing Illusion Magician's own Spellbinding Circle (See Ep-202).

Illusion Curse / Curse of Illusions (?) [Continuous Trap Card]
--- This card can only be activated when there is a face-up "Illusion Magician" on your side of the field.
--- If there are no "Illusion Magician" on your side of the field, destroy this card.
--- All non-spellcaster monsters your opponent controls lose 700 attack points
--- If you control a face-up "Illusion Magician", you can tribute both "Illusion Magician" and this card to special summon one "Dark Magician" from your hand, deck or graveyard.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have a field spell that can change the name on a card. Also, can a card be known as two things at the one time, i.e. it's original name and the name it's treated as - e.g. Illusion Magician and Dark Magician?

There can be a Field Spell that can change Card's names; however, a card cannot have more than 1 name at the same time. At least, not for now.
