I remember on Sapphire.. I saw a shiny Whismur.. thought my game was bugged so I turn it off.
I had the exact same thing, The green ears turned me off so I just used 'Run'

You should ditch Clefairy (if you aren't too connected with it tho) and like Porygon2z said, you should go for a Porygon. There's no need for 2, 3 if you also take Pidgey, Normal type Pokémon.

I just wish my Buneary & Budew would get happy enough to evolve.
just keep walking or running like ****. That's what i did for budew. before i even get my first badge, it already evolved into roselia. but you have to wait till u go to the sixth badge before you can get shiny stone to become roserade.
