Taylor has met both George Bush and Michelle Obama.
I think her being friends with the Kennedy family would indicate she is likely to be a Democrat, but who knows.
I think she should stay out of American politics though. It is really partisan and divisive right now between the two main parties. Whoever she sides with would alienate a lot of people and media, so not worth it unless she is really into political issues. Taylor was a big fan of The Dixie Chicks and so is fully aware of what happened to them and is unlikely to make the same mistake.
