The performances & fashion are fine. She's always been inconsitent in terms of fashion. Like I said, people should stop dragging the irrelevant stuff when they should really be dragging the root of the problem: the music.

I think her work is of quality. ARTPOP has some of the best songs of her career. Some of her fashion has been so ON POINT this era, her wigs look gorgeous most of the time and her singing has been on point most of the time too. Did you see the SMAP x SMAP performance? Did you see the AMA performance?

Agree with all of this. Gaga's biggest downfalls this era imo has been her interviews and her ways of expressing this album. I get frustrated when she's talking about it. It's like she doesn't want to admit she still writes somewhat generic pop songs.

Don't see a problem with the music though, especially when every Gaga album has been inconsistent in quality. ARTPOP has some fantastic tracks and some border-line duds, just like BTW, TFM (which was only 8 songs omg) and The Fame.

MTE. Pop is pop, Gaga, not art. You don't have to prove you are an 'artist' for people to take you seriously; everyone already did that when you eclipsed every other pop girls' careers (besides Britney) in the space of a year

The Applause music video was good. Nothing really groundbreaking but that's OK. I thought she had learned that all her videos should be the length of the song now but I forgot Gaga is kind of a loser now and keeps making the same career mistakes over & over.

I might be in the minority, but one of the reasons I love the Alejandro video was because it came out as "more than pop" without the huge backstory of why it's art. BTW was so messy. It felt like a corny version of Alejandro and everything hasn't been the same since.

Even You & I leaves this bad taste in my mouth even though it's the most "Gaga"-ish video reminiscent of her TF/TFM days.

Yes. The .gif represents Gaga's career really. Except at the end of the .gif the guy saves him from falling down even further. I'm afraid nothing will save Gaga. I really think it's only getting worse from here. She is not as savvy, or talented, as she deceived us to be.
