True, you don't have to objectify men in order to be a Feminist but the same old tired routine in pop music is getting pretty old. The Anaconda video can be interpreted in many ways but, regardless of what she was trying to convey, I don't think the message came through very well.
The difference between Gaga and some of these other girls is that, from the jump, Gaga took her clothes off but a good 80% of the time, she didn't care about looking sexy while doing it. For example, she's naked in Born This Way, but she also has facial and shoulder horns. She doesn't give a **** about looking ugly and she doesn't care who thinks she's ugly. And it's a refreshing contrast to an industry full of artists who always strive to look perfect on Instagram and during performances.
