"real Emotion" was released on March 5th, 2003 and is noted as Kumi's breakthrough single in Japan. It was released as a double a-side along with the ballad "1000 no Kotaba". The song was used in the game Final Fantasy X-2 which played a huge part in the song's success. The single debuted @ #6 on the Oricon singles chart and reached a peak of #3 on it's fifth week. The song finished at #24 on the year end Oricon singles chart for 2003.

"Keep Tryin" was released February 22, 2006 and was the 5th single released from the 'ULTRA BLUE' era. It peaked @ #2 on the Oricon singles chart with total sales of about 125k which were fairly low for her at the time however it's digital sales made up for that. It sold an impressive 2.5 million downloads which was enough to be the most downloaded J-Pop song of 2006.

"Hikari" was released March 20, 2002 and was used as the theme for Kingdom Heats. An english version of the song titled "Simple & Clean" was used as the North American Kingdom Hearts theme. The single hit #1 on the Oricon singles chart and went on to sell over 590k copies which placed it at #10 on the Oricon yearly singles chart for 2002. The song also made the Guinness World Records as the best-selling video game theme song in Japan.
