FF was an era that proved more than ever that Britney's name alone does not translate into album sales and that her singles - do need proper push to sell or wont without promo . The SPICE GIRLS musical started off well, with all the girls attending and such but on the second critics saw it and DESTROYED it on the press and no added promo was done or anything, the show was doomed and it CLOSED 6 months after launched.

Britney needs to get it together for real with this

Your comments about the FF singles is so wrong. "I Wanna Go" is one of her biggest radio hits ever and never got any promo.

Yes, I forgot about that one
But it still didnt sold records right? Tour doesnt sell records and neither radio and Britney's case so maybe it's the PROMO that is being the missing link

You are speaking for yourself you are a die-hard fan. The world is much bigger than you and the other die hard fans who will buy whatever music she puts out.

Promo is a tool to getting exposure of your product to people that normally wouldnt be exposed to your material. Labels dont pay artist to make promo for the fans, that's nonsense.
If it was something for the fans, she would upload a performance @ her website

When you go to TV, the goal is to impact as many people possible so that the sales of the product can be maximized. Britney's last album with minimul 1st week promo and no follow up promo managed to get her to 700k copies sold of FF

This time, with records sales lower + people not being even aware she has an album out because she is out there promoting = a not eve gold record.

You might not care cause you are a fan of her and her music REGARDLESS but unfortunately that's not how the major band plays

I am actually concerned with the ticket sales. I think the first set of shows are/have sold well, but I'm concerned about the next set. There needs to be a fierce promo push once each of the shows each been announced, if not, the sales will most likely not be up to par.

Exactly! That's exactly my point
It happened with the Spice Girls musical. The first set of tickets sold well because of the die hard fans which packed to see as it started but then it is a combination of promo, media feedback/reviews and word of mouth

Critics write it off

I think that those fans asking Promos mean well. They just want Britney to succeed and be on top.

While i think that britney can still compete with or without promo, i think britney is competiting with her self LOL she alrrady conquered the world twice,its okay to let someone else to do it. Besides no one can ever top britney success. Its untouchable.
