To be honest most people here have been supportive of E.T, calling it their fav on the album.
I actually agree with this.
Even though there was still people who said E.T would underperform, and that it was a bad single choice. But I do remember that people were excited in the E.T single announcement thread.
By the end of the BTW era GaGa will most likely reclaim her title. If something like BTW can sell 1.5 million copies in 4 weeks & spend 5 maybe + weeks at #1, who knows what else she is capable of.

If something like flop 4th single E.T. can outsell everyone my miles with double less airplay, no video and promo, who knows what LFN and other single are capatble of.
E.T is increasing at a fast pace that it caused everybody to decrease.
4th single, no video, small airplay, no promo. Who else?
1 Katy Perry - E.T. (feat. Kanye West) 100.000
2 Jennifer Lopez - On the Floor (feat. Pitbull) 86.049
3 Lady GaGa - Born This Way 80.443
4 Rihanna - S&M 78.680
5 Ke$ha - Blow 65.643

Its not a typical 4th single though...the version at number 1 isnt on the album and is a remix

Outsell everyone by miles? It just hit #1. It's not even platinum yet. Who knows how much it will sell by the end of its run, but not as much as Firework or CG.
