have to hear the full thing. her voice control is technically incredible, but her voice in the clip overall left me a bit "cold". i guess, i just miss the rasp that managed to catapult her into a whole new and unique stratosphere--and that, for me, made her super soulful.
but again: have to hear the full thing to really judge.
Hopefully a full performance will surface. I'm not really a big fan of her voice in this. John's tone is so smooth and calming, hers is crispy and sharp but doesn't really sound passionate or either honest. John's voice is way more soulful.
^ i am glad i am not the only one who thinks that. her voice does seem a bit "fake" and the emotion she delivers seems highly calculated which robs it from its soul.
as for adele's album: haven't heard it yet. is it out already?
