I must say i was suprised that they paid it dust during Gen II and IV, I really expected Weepinbell to also get a Sun Stone evolution or atleast get a move + lvl up evolution in Gen IV

I actually thought (and some others also) that Carnivine was gonna be part of the Bellsprout family. Yep I'm the kind of person who likes to speculate about (random?) branched evos like Farfetch'd -> Swanna, Weepinbell -> Carnivine, Gligar -> Drapion

What I didn't like in Johto is how many shrines are given to Kanto Pokemon Bellsprout and Sprout Tower. Slowpoke and Slowpoke Well...Dratini and Dragon's Den

Johto and G/C/S have soo many problems. So much untapped potential in terms of good programming and design in my opinion

The Slowpoke Well isn't that odd, since Slowking is a Gen II mon, and the Dratini line was the only Dragon-line with Kingdra being the only other additional Dragon type in it's line, so I also can get that one.
Bellsprout felt really odd on one side.

Johto Pkmn are so tame though. I think that's what makes them unique. Gen IV really expanded them with those evos tho. Just thinking about Pokemon like Murkrow and Gligar Can u imagine if they hadn't gotten evos
