The image is an issue. But it's mostly the lackluster music (cringe worthy lyrics and loud, obnoxious production) that is the problem.

DWUW is really good though. So if that doesn't catch on...

Alright after this post I'll have released all my negativity:

This era is a disappointment because it's her best music ever but her worst, most disorganized image & theme ever. Her personality has also changed & I don't like it as much - rather than fun, she's actually extremely serious & trying to change the world & make everything art. Where's the fun? I like when she describes ARTPOP as fun, but she just adds so much weight to the music with her explanations.

And Applause just needs to die. It's done nothing for her but it seems to be holding on on radio. I'm disappointed that it was ever a single, even if I still love it.

The amount of poor decisions that were almost & were made this era is BAFFLING.

Disagree with the "best music" part (ARTPOP is actually her worst). But agree with everything else.

I think ARTPOP is Gaga's best album overall. But if I compare my eight most favorite ARTPOP tracks to TFM, TFM wins. If that makes sense.

All of this "I hate ARTPOP" "It's her worst album" ******** could only be seen after her album numbers were out.
I'm always getting life from this album so you'll never see me complain unless she gives a horrible live performance or a horrible video.
She could flop harder or smash hard, it won't make a difference to me.
I started stanning for her without knowing how many #1s she had.
