but i can only imagine what the status of SFTTR would be had she performed it

No idea. I guess to sing the song that made her who she is today (and for which she was nominated).
RHI will be sent to radios in March so I think they want SFTTR to start dropping. Hopefully, it still gets one more week at #1.

I actually appriciate Adele more for not performing in orfer to promote, if she wanted to di promo she sure would have sang SFTTR.
