in terms of actual sales, it will not reach come on over, jagged little pill, bodyguard etc, and certainly not Thriller. that's simply impossible these days.
instead look at the chartrun of both album and singles plus its sales compared to its present competitors. That is the best way to gauge its success imo.
but i agree tho, given the circumstances, an album hasn't slayed like this since Come on over...in a couple of months (hopefully) even Thriller!
