I thought Emily and David's final scene together was sweet. I didn't really understand why Louise suddenly decided to rat out Victoria and I kinda wish Victoria's shot would have killed Emily. The ending felt a little too sweet, but oh well. This show was always a mess, but an entertaining one.
The show runner said the dream was to be left open to interpretation...

Sunil made it clear that it was a psychological frame of mind, even though she received a happy ending. The idea that Victoria will follow her for the rest of her life is an interesting one. You don’t want to see Amanda get off without any kind of pain or suffering,” she says.
“She doesn’t have Victoria’s heart — that’s a strange and iffy thing. But the idea psychologically that Grayson will haunt her for the rest of her life is absolutely true. The dream is symbolic; the idea that Emily will never truly be happy. She was driven to be this person by this woman, which in turn created so much hate in this young girl. To have her gone is bittersweet in a weird way.” added VanCamp.
TVLINE | Let’s talk about Emily possibly getting Victoria’s heart. Your thoughts on that twist?
I’d like to think Victoria always had a mighty heart, but nobody knew it. So now she’s got her enemy’s heart — which might not be so bad. When we did the table read, it absolutely happened. But they wanted to go for a little more poetry and have it be in her psyche so that you saw she was troubled by this. They’d never tell a transplant recipient who gave the heart unless both sides agreed to it. In the original draft, it absolutely happened.
The finale was so lackluster, ugh... They could end this in so many better ways, but they went with the most lame and predictable one. Anyway, it's cool to think that Emily got Victoria's heart and for me it was not a nightmare.
David and Victoria filling the two graves was so obvious. Disappointed Revenge didn't go a little gutsier and kill off Amanda, as it would've been a much more fitting end than her riding off into the sunset.
Generally nice finale though. I got choked up when it was Nolan walking Emily down the aisle, ngl. It could've easily been two hours to flesh out the drama + emotion more.

Fff. That was absolute PANTS. Worse than I actually would have imagined.
Almost like they shot 3 different endings and couldn't stick to one, so they used all of them at once. There was no point of Amanda getting shot, there was no point of that dream sequence, and that cliff hanger with Nolan was so forced.
Terrible . And how did Amanda not get charged as an accessory to murder seeing ass her dad got a "compassionate sentence"? For her Dad to get a sentence that would have meant that the CCTV footage is what exposed them, and the CCTV clearly shows Amanda threatening Victoria with a gun. And if the CCTV footage never actually got out then they would never have been caught since Victoria was already announced dead to the world. Makes no sense
well Amanda can use the fact that Victoria framing her pushed her into desperate mood and as she wasn't herself, subsequent consequences happened as part of that and she might be cleared or something. Plus Louise can still give clue to new detective about the hoodie and they can start investigate again that Amanda didn't commit the crime and Victoria was still alive and contribute to Amanda case
The ending was alright. Jack and Amanda together makes me cringe though. They have no chemistry and their scenes were always so awkward.
Revenge will be one of my favorite shows even though it has a lot of messy moments/seasons. Queen Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke is one of the best characters ever.
I have no words to express how much I LOVED this show back then, Victoria Grayson really killed me in every way possible the character was so perfect, so flawless everything about her was awesome, As the serie went by It became Unreal and not natural but I guess It happens to every serie, The final was unreal and I wasn't feeling.
Good thing I got to know The Queen of The Hamptons, Long live to the most memorable female character in the past years.
Finally finished it today. I finished the whole series in a month. Never thought I would get addicted to a soap. The cast was so perfect. I'll miss Emily so much. Legend.
