I don't know about you, but TOTGA really helped Katy get more respect towards the people around me. (they don't know about any of the remixes and endless promo, though)

I think Wide Awake would bring the some kind of respect and solidify it.

I wouldn't mind if it did, since her worst single is already her best selling one in the US. I'd prefer Dressin' Up took the top spot, as awful as it is now.
