No. The Carrie stans hate us because of Taylor's success. For some reason they seem to always try and measure Carrie's success, which is considerable in the USA, with Taylor's success and it gets them vexed because Carrie comes up short. Carrie is doing very well in her own corner of the Country Music world, but Taylor is the best selling American artist for the past half-decade in all genres, so she currently overshadows the success of everyone really, apart from maybe Adele.
You don't see the fans of Beyonce or Katy or Eminem or Pink or Bruno Mars getting all vexed about Taylor selling more than their faves. They are just happy to celebrate the success of their own faves. Carrie fans are not satisifed in just doing the same for Carrie, they have to try and bash Taylor all the time.
They should stop trying to compare Carrie with Taylor and compare her to other Simon Cowell type reality TV manufactured acts like 1D, Susan Boyle, Kelly Clarkson, Phillip Philips, Leona Lewis, Olly Murs, Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradbery, Fantasia, Adam Lambert. I think Carrie compares well with most of them, in terms of sales and success.
It's not even a real rivalry anyway, there is no personal issue between the two artists. In terms of success and recent achievements there is no comparison. In 2013 alone Taylor was selling out Stadiums in Australia, getting Golden Globe noms, Grammy AOTY nominations, performing with a Prince in London, winning AMAs Artist of the Year and the Pinnacle Award at the CMAs and putting on the biggest tour for the year in North America. Carrie has never done any of those things, ever. Taylor's latest Album Red is about to reach 4 million sales in the US alone. Carrie's Blown Away is struggling to reach 2 million. How is that even a rivalry?
Carrie seems a nice girl but her fans really need to stop with comparing her success to Taylor's because it is not fair on Carrie.
