This will sit comfortably at #1 for several weeks. I'm not a Britney fan and don't understand her appeal, but I love HOT music and this song is absolutely sick. I feel like I owe something to the producer + songwriter for blessing us with this gift from pop heaven.
Most of these people who are complaining don't follow the charts closely enough. Britney's last two #1s may have reached that position because they opened with big numbers, but that's not the norm. Most songs climb towards the top. If she doesn't open with big numbers she will have more opportunities to top the chart. The song is not going to free-fall as some people are suggesting. If the song is good then sales will be boosted by the video and by airplay once it takes off on radio.
People have been here long enough and have had enough exposure to how the charts operate to know this.

I'm really not trying to start anything, but I don't know if this is strong enough to be a big hit. I mean, it will undoubtedly start off strong due to Britney's loyal fanbase, but it doesn't sound like it will have much longevity. Just my opinion, and maybe the final version is improved, but kudos to her if it does better than I expect it to.

I don't think so, not all people go to charts section... There are people that still don't know that sales go from monday to sunday and that the song could be #1 the same week.

I would agree... if it were the official song by Britney. Otherwise, yes this demo would get old quick released as it is.
Sis, calm down. I even said I wasn't trying to stir up drama. And demos generally sound strongly sound like the final product. My opinion probably won't change when the real version hits, but of course I'll listen so I can give an accurate opinion.
