Carnival Ride is amazing
Play On is really hit or miss, but gems like Songs Like This, Temporary Home, Someday When I Stop Loving You, Quitter, and Undo It are great.
Blown Away is her best album. Enjoy that one.
Storyteller is great too and actually pretty acclaimed. Legend!

True @ the Play On description. A thing I've noticed about Carrie's album titles in relation to the album quality is when it's on point like Carnival Ride, it's great. If it's a little like Play On, it's an and or either thing.

How far is Carrie into her Storyteller era right now?

Blown Away leaves you exactly as the title suggests. The first 6 songs are all so good

I don't understand why they're putting so much time into making 'Chaser' a single in the U.K when it's clearly not gonna do well.

If she wants to get a hit there, she can't half-ass it. She needs to do a full promotional schedule there and needs to put effort in it.

Promotion for 'Smoke Break' and 'Heartbeat' were immaculate, so I hope that whatever the third single will be too.

Columbia Records UK is handling the release of Chaser. We shall see what they do

Even if the single is a hit on UK country radio, it's still gonna flop. No one cares too much about country music over there. It's also weird that in the UK, Before He Cheats (peaked at 104 ), Smoke Break (155), Heartbeat, Somethin' Bad, and Something in the Water are all charting on iTunes but Chaser is nowhere to be found.

I don't see it doing anything big. Great song tho.

Play on did have hits tho, like Cowboy Casanova and the singles that she released were generally good, sans mama's song. But the album collectively isnt as good as Blown Away or Carnival Ride. I think in years to come Storyteller would be as good. I honestly think after listening to the album several times, it is pretty solid.

I kinda figured Dirty Laundry. She ain't slick using the word laundry + repeating both work and fun 3x (dry, dry, dry, line, line, line). I like the song but I don't see it doing any better than Smoke Break unless it has an amazing video. Hope I'm wrong though.
