To some extent, I agree.
Yet she has an image that the general public sees, that I am sure she wants to move away from. I don't want her to be perceived as the "trashy, tacky" pop star again. There is more to her than that. I am sick of people not taking her seriously. This cover doesn't indicate any evolution whatsoever.

This is what she was before, and she hasn't changed (negatively). An album cover has nothing to do with this, and give it a month and a single and you'll be use to it.

Her general image for her career and to the whole public will not be changed positively, nor negatively over an album cover.

90% of the general public won't even see her Cover, unless they buy it. But they will hear her amazing singles which tells otherwise.

The execution of the album cover could have probably been better graphically and technically in general, but in the end it's just a matter of taste. Many people seem to hate it, but I've also seen people say they really like or love the cover, even here on ATRL.
